Southeast Chambers of commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (SECCIMA) is the umbrella and apex body of all the existing city Chambers of Commerce & Industry across the South East Geo-Political zone of Nigeria.
SECCIMA is one of four recognized regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria and an active member of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).

SECCIMA is the official mouth piece of the organized private sector and business community in South -East Nigeria. Its main objective is to promote, protect the interest of the business community and promote the growth of SMEs and carry out business advocacy and ease of doing business in South East Nigeria.
SECCIMA is the most Organized private sector (OPS) platform for interaction, brainstorming and exchange of ideas among entrepreneurs and business community within and outside the southeast of Nigeria.
SECCIMA is expected as part of her mandates to provide useful information to the budding and existing businesses to increase their capacity to manage and grow their businesses. Globally, the people of South- East Nigeria are known to be highly enterprising people with excellent business, economic and entrepreneurial mindset and thought patterns.
Membership of SECCIMA is open to all registered city chambers of commerce and industry in Southeast and business organization operating within the south region of Nigeria.

To be a leading regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria, provide and nurture ethical business leaders support the growth of free enterprise through networking and collaboration with Government Agencies, NGOs and business associations locally and internationally.

To promote the cause of business and economic development in Southeast zone, so as to create wealth and job opportunities through Entrepreneurship and innovative business ideas as well as to protect the business environment through public policy and advocacy.
Corporate mandates of SECCIMA
- SECCIMA is the central body of the organized private sectors and city chambers in southeast. It is a forum for exchange of information and ideas on investment and business opportunities within and other the country. Other corporate objectives and goals of SECCIMA are
- To stimulate the establishment and growth of SMEs in Southeast zone as a means of increasing the commercial and economic activities of the southeast so as to empower our people.
- To support the city chambers to organize annual made in Nigeria trade fair in their respective states/cities as a way of promoting business activities in the zone.
- Partnering with captain of industry and investors to Establish of industrial cluster through partnership with organized private sector (OPS) and Government agencies within and outside Nigeria.
- Organizes Entrepreneurial skill development workshop/seminar for the youths toward developing their entrepreneurial mind-set
- Organizing seminars, workshop, summits, conference and training sessions for the business community on issues and topics that will enhance and promote business growth and development within our geographical location.
- Organizing a bi-annual trade missions to overseas countries for members to network with foreign companies toward attracting foreign investment/ partnership opportunities to Nigeria.
- Partnering NACCIMA, continental, international chamber movement, the organized private sector, development agency to promote private sector investment in Agriculture, ICT and trading to increase business and industrial development of southeast Nigeria
- Design, implement and engage in programs and activities that will support and encourage our youth to development interest in entrepreneurship, innovation and business growth.
- SECCIMA is the central organization for collecting, distributing and disseminating of information of a business nature, especially investment/business opportunities, regulations, tariffs, opportunities for local trade and other matters affecting local and foreign markets.
